Sevens

Type: a solitaire game

Objective: Get out of cards first.

Players: 3+

Partners: No

Decks: 1

Rounds: 1

Jokers: No

Wilds: no

Aces: Always low

Point system: none

Deal all cards.

If there are extra cards at the end, set them aside, face up, and place them as they become relevant. (When do they become relevant, when they do. You’ll see in a moment :D)

The player to the left of the dealer puts down a 7 if they have one. If not, they pass.

Once a 7 is played, each player plays another 7, or a card that builds up or down in suit from those on the table.

E.g. Player 1 plays the 7 of diamonds. Player 2 can play another 7, the 6 of diamonds, or the 8 of diamonds, or pass if they have none of these. The next player could play the 5 of diamonds if player 2 played the 6.

If a player CAN play a card, they MUST.

If a player cannot play a card, they pass.

Suits work up to King and down to Ace.

Each player can only play one card per turn.

Play continues until a player wins by emptying their hand.

Play for 2nd, 3rd, etc. place is frequent, and useful if you are checking the deck for completeness.
